Silence is golden. (Who’s holdin’?)

I know that right now it might look like I’m being quieter than I’ve been in years, but I assure you that it means I’m working like crazy. Here’s a few things you might want to know:

1. There are some new shows posted on the “shows” page. More are coming.

2. I don’t usually post this type of thing in public, but I’ve come up with nothing but dead ends about this: I’m looking for a venue in Orlando for a show on Friday, April 29th, 2011. The show will consist of me, Pretty Birds That Kill, and Magitek. We’re not picky. Really, we’ll play pretty much anywhere. Can anyone help?

3. As you might have seen, I’ve been doing lots of stuff with Sci-Fried recently. On March 25th, they’re releasing a new album called Future Tense. I do some guest vocals on “Foiled Again”. I also play a stool with a drumstick on that track. And if you listen really carefully to their song “Looking Back At Today”, you’ll hear me doing some falsetto harmonies. You can totally get the album from their website. I suggest doing so sooner than later.

4. Remember a few weeks ago when Benjamin Bear covered my song “You’re My Princess” on his album called Everything Left? Welp, last week he released another new album called Tuesday, and I’m totally on his song “Broken Windows“. It’s probably not what you’re expecting. You can get the whole album for any price you want right here.

5. My new album, Motherfuckers Be Bullshittin’, is just over a song and a half away from being totally recorded as of this writing. It’s been a lot more work than I thought it’d be, and I’m more exhausted than I expected to be this early in the game. However, I’ve been working on it diligently, (as in: practically all day and all night, every day, with about a four to five hour break in the middle), so as I stated before, please don’t take my relative lack of current activity as anything other than what it is: Marc working and avoiding the act of socializing.

So, yes. Talk to you soon. Hope you’re all okay!

Love on ya,
Marc
