RetroLowFi: 10 Years Of Marc With a C!

1999 – 2009…

As of December 2009, I have been performing as Marc With a C for ten years. It blows my mind that I’ve had such loyal and continued supprt from my fanbase right from the start, and to celebrate my anniversary I’m releasing a collection called RetroLowFi: 10 Years Of Marc With a C. This two-disc, fifty-four song collection draws together pretty much all of the audience favorites and puts them alongside a few new tracks and unreleased bits. The idea ideally goes as follows: I offer all of my albums up for free download at marcwithac.com, but if you’d like to own a physical release, I want you to get the most bang for your buck. As I’ve sold out of practically all pressings of each record from my extensive catalog, it only seemed logical to have one really, really satisfying compact disc sitting on the merch table for a fair price – with a track list that would please both longtime fans as well as newcomers. Also, all of these tracks have been remastered to get optimum performance value out of each of these lo-fi recordings. We’ve had these discs professionally pressed, and it comes complete with extensive liner notes and has been sequenced to keep you guessing for all of it’s 140+ minute running time!

We’re offering it for the low, low price of ten american dollars through PayPal. You don’t have to own an account to order, just a simple credit card will do. We’ll start shipping these on 12/08/09, but please feel free to pre-order to ensure the earliest delivery possible! Here’s your link to order:

Thank you for facilitating my need to document my life in song everyone. This one’s for you.

Love on ya,

“Marc Sings For You!”?!?!

If you’re like me, you probably like to experience music in the most personal way possible. I like to perform it in the most personal manner that I can, and that’s why I’m starting the Marc Sings For You series! Here’s how it works:

You buy a Marc Sings For You selection. I sit down with my four-track and record eight songs live just for you from my repertoire. I pick six of the tunes by pulling the titles from a Tupperware bowl, and when you check out via PayPal, you leave two song requests for me to fill on your tape. (The requests must be one of my originals or a cover I’m known for doing).

In roughly two weeks (give or take) you’ll receive a personally made “edition of one” from yours truly. Once you receive it, you’re free to share it, break it, covet it… anything you’d like except for selling it!

Due to popular demand, I’m also offering the option to have your tape on a CD-R instead (or both, if you so choose), but it costs a bit more since it takes extra work and time for you. Hope you understand. Besides, how cool is it to have a tape directly out of my deck and into your mailbox?

If you are ready to pick one up through PayPal (which you don’t even need to have an account for), here’s where you can make it happen:

Marc Sings For You

And yes, I’m happy to make these as gifts. Just let me know who I’m making it for and where I’m sending it. I’ll totally keep it a secret from them until they get it!

Hope you all enjoy this new endeavor, as well as your tapes!

Love on ya,
Marc

PS: Keep in mind that I have a very, very large repertoire of music, and since I’m doing the setlists for these tapes on a mostly random basis, absolutely no two tapes will be alike.

PPS: One day, I may pick the best of these and make a release out of them. You’ve been warned ;)
