A happy Wednesday to you all! Just two tidbits of news for you all this time:

1. MARC WITH A C HOSTS A YARD SALE FULL OF… RECORDS???

Yes, it’s true. If you’re in the Orlando area, and you like to listen to vinyl records, then Saturday, October 11th may just be the happiest day of your life. I’m helping to liquidate a private record collection of over 2000+ titles. Many of these titles originated from Georgia college radio station, so you can expect the unexpected here. All titles will range from $2 to $30… or best offer. There will be grab bags, titles you’ve never seen in your life, and heck… if there’s a guitar around, I might plunk around on it to pass some time. We’ll be spinning records out front. It’s a yard sale party. Swing by and say hello, eh?

The bulk of these titles are being sold for under 10 bucks. The sale is perfect for anyone just looking to pick up a few classic titles to round out their collection, as well as a godsend for hardcore collectors! And, hey… if you don’t collect records, this is a good way to get your collection started!

You’ll find stuff from: 60’s / 70’s / 80’s / Rock / Pop / Indie / Punk / Goth / Folk / Classical / Country / Jazz / New Wave / Showtunes… you name it, and there’s plenty of it to be had. You’ll really kick yourself if you miss this!

Seriously. I expect to see you all there!

2. OMG MORE RECORDZ:

I’ve updated my new record reviewing blog: Albums I Like. This time around, I’ve talked about great records by Os Mutantes, Chris Zabriskie, Kirsty Maccoll, Cars Can Be Blue, Pink Floyd, The Who, Belly, The Ramones, They Might be Giants and Juliana Hatfield.
