So yes. I hope that’s going to be well worth your ten dollars. I’ve got the proof back from the duplication plant and Chris has done a bang-up job with the packaging, as always, and I feel really proud when I hold it.
The bonus CD-R of outtakes will not be made available again. It was a special treat for those that pre-ordered the album and helped us make the release date. If you didn’t reserve a copy, maybe you can ask a nice person that got a copy and they’ll dub it for you? That’s how bootlegs work.
And one last thing… If you ordered a copy, but you’d rather pick it up directly from us at the release show on Sunday June 29th @ Stardust, please let me know. You can send me a message or leave a comment here. Either one works. It’ll just save us a bit on shipping, but it’s more contingent on how quickly you want the album. And of course, this is all under the assumption that we’ll have it back from the pressing plant on the correct date to get the mail out on time. I mean, I’d hate for some people to be at the show and still not have gotten their discs in the mail, you know?
So, are we excited? I know that I am. If I weren’t so lazy, I’d hook up the digicam and take pictures of myself holding the album up in all of it’s “Kodad” glory. But you’ll see it soon. But seriously, let me know. Does that all look like it was worth the wait?
Ok, I looked myself up on YouTube. I didn’t expect to find anything. Then, out of the friggin’ blue… turns out that someone made a silly little tribute video to a song I recorded.
“Nerdy Girls”? No.
“Why Don’t Girls Like Me?”. Nuh uh.
“Life’s So Hard”? Nopers.
Something obscure like “Every Inch Of You”? Warmer, but… no.
Someone took the time to make an insane little video out of my cover of Little Marcy’s “I Love Little Pussy”. You people are really fucking paying attention, apparently. My head just kinda exploded.
If you made this, please get in contact with us, seriously. Not kidding. You’re awesome.
