Since I’d been swamping you all with promotional stuff lately, I felt kinda bad about not really doing any updating in awhile. You know, with things that weren’t so much related to the “Marc With a C” act, because while it keeps me busy – demos for nine new songs slated for the next album this month alone! – it isn’t my life. So, here’s a few meanderings on what else has been going on.
I should totally be in bed, but there’s a fun new development I simply have to share with you all…
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24th, 8:00 AM on 91.5 WPRK, Orlando, FL
I’ll be on the Serious Business show (probably closer to the second hour of the show, truth be told) with DJ’s Anonymous and Logan(?) to play some early-morning tunes, maybe play some records, but definitely to talk about my upcoming Halloween shows at Universal Studios, as well as the DVD filming on November 10th at Stardust in Orlando. It’s gonna be a blast, and I’ll have to work really hard to remember not to curse on-air. Why not tune in and listen? Heck, if time and the disc jockeys permit, I’d even be willing to take a request or two over the phone. I’m crazy like that!
NOT IN ORLANDO? Don’t fret! You can still stream the show at www.wprkdj.org as long as you tune in around 8:00 AM EST. Don’t be shy, I’m excited to do this, but only if you’re excited to listen. I’m also excited to see what it’ll be like… I don’t think I’ve ever held a guitar that early in the morning in my life.
Speaking of the DVD filming… don’t forget to vote for which songs you want us to play in the DVD filming! It’s getting closer to the cut-off date, and we want everyone to have a say as to what happens at the show. I mean, the DVD is for *you*, after all. Okay, okay… I can finally announce it, and it’s fucking *on*.
I, Marc With a C, will be returning to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL this Halloween for three nights *opening* for the Rich Weirdoes presentation of Rocky Horror Picture Show! This is like the fourth year in a row I’ve done these shows, and even though my opening sets are short, they’re always a blast the likes of which you’ve never seen in a movie theater. I’ll be doing a slightly different setlist each night, so catch as many of them as you can!
It’s all ages (within reason), it’s eight dollars for three hours of insanity, and hey… they have a Dance Dance Revolution machine in the lobby for pre-pre-show fun!
