Okay, okay! I’ve gotten tons of emails about the first entry into Marc With a C’s Official Bootleg Series. And the general consensus is… no one can download it! I apologize profusely for this, as it’s obviously something on our end that didn’t quite add up. However, I’ve come up witha quick fix in the mean time… you can now download – or simply stream – the entire show at archive.org.

Ok, that’s better. Now, if all of our footwear is in order, feast your eyes on Marc’s Super Primo-Bitchin’ Newsflash!
On Saturday, November 10th, 2007 @ Stardust in Orlando, FL, I’ll be doing a show that Jen Vargas and her team will be filming for a possible future DVD release.
How cool is that? Instead of overexplaining to your friends statements like “naw, you really gotta see Marc live to get it”, you can pop in a DVD and show them what they’ve been missing out on! And that isn’t even the best part!
Now, sure, we really want everyone possible to come out and help us pack the room for this show, but wouldn’t it sweeten the deal if I told you that the setlist for the night would be voted on by *you*? This means that even if I don’t come to your town to play shows very often, you get to vote on what songs I’ll play at the show, ensuring that everyone’s getting something that will make them happy in the setlist. How awesome!
Here’s how you do it:
Go to this web address: http://drumz.best.vwh.net/mp/artists/marc2007/ballot.cgi
Rate the songs on a scale from 10 (meaning that song *has* to be performed) to 0 (meaning you don’t want to hear the song on the DVD under any circumstances). I’m sure you can figure out the ratings inbetween. If you haven’t heard a song on the voting ballot before, don’t fret… you can just skip it and move on to the next song! And I’m looking for everyone’s input, even if you just know “Nerdy Girls”, you only own one album, you have only seen me that one time at Universal Studios, or you’ve just heard of me last week. Everybody’s opinion counts. And, if the filming goes well (and if I don’t totally suck eggs that night, of course) we’ll be sticking it on a DVD for your viewing pleasure in the first half of next year! Yippee!
Vote quick, though… the voting cuts off on November 1st at 2 PM EST, as that’s when we’ll have to tally up the votes and turn the top 20 or so into a digestable setlist that will live on through the ages. We’re counting on you to help us make the funnest Marc show we can possibly put on!

We’re happy to kick off a neat little experiment in DIY recording with the first ever volume of Marc With a C’s Official Bootleg Series. See, we’ve often recorded shows with the intention of releasing them as live documents, but something invariably goes wrong. Either the crowd isn’t into the show that night, or Marc completely forgets how to play his instrument… or the instruments/recording consoles simply decide to go all sorts of wonky. Something comes up each and every time that keeps the results from being released in an official form. And seriously people… this has been going on since 2002. It’s getting out of hand. We have tapes/discs of shows gone awry just sitting around, piled up, without any sort of home. And this is why the Official Bootleg Series was born. And that brings us to…
